| "Siemens" teachers visit the IfN |
40 teachers from the Siemens Gymnasium Magdeburg visited the IfN to contact neuroscientists and to learn about modern experimental memory research.
IfN director Henning Scheich gave an inspiring presentation about animal and human learning studies. After a vivid discussion between scientists and teachers the guests visited the 7Tesla tomograph, where Jörg Stadler explained the technical details of the highfild magnet.
This afternoon was of mutual benefit for both teachers and scientists, not least due to the great interest and open-mindedness of the "Siemens" teachers. |
